A Corner with Character
We started Baby’s right here at 2147 N Talbott St because this corner of Indianapolis has heart. The mix of families, artists, and everyday locals gives this area its spark. We fell in love with the building’s history — once a grocery, later a drag-show venue — and saw a chance to bring new life to a place that’s always meant something to the neighborhood.
Inspired by the Past
Before Baby’s, our team ran The Ball & Biscuit on Mass Ave. We wanted to carry that same welcoming energy into something fresh and fun. The diner look gives a wink to the past while keeping things modern and easy. We built a spot where anyone can walk in, relax, and enjoy good food made from fresh, local ingredients — no fuss, just comfort and quality.
Made for Every Kind of Guest
We designed this place for everyone — families grabbing lunch, couples out for dinner, friends catching up at the bar. The space is casual, bright, and full of good energy, with outdoor seating when the weather’s nice. Whether you’re here for burgers, fried chicken, or dessert, you’ll always find something worth coming back for.
Rooted in Community
Baby’s is more than a restaurant — it’s a part of the neighborhood. We’re proud to support local farms, use fresh ingredients daily, and give back whenever we can. Our goal is simple: to serve honest food in a place that feels familiar, even on your first visit. Every meal shared here adds a little more warmth to the corner we call home.
